Title HUMAN_21K_OligoArray_1
Technology type spotted oligonucleotide
Distribution non-commercial
Organism Homo sapiens

Description Spotted 70mer oligonucleotide.
The Human Array Ready Oligo Set Version 2 contains arrayable 70mers representing 21,329 well-characterized human genes from the UniGene Database. This database is located at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (see www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/UniGene/). All 70mer oligonucleotides in the Human Genome Oligo Set Version 2 were designed after the representative sequences in the UniGene Database, Build Hs 147.
The 70mers have also been Tm normalized to 78°C (±5 C). The Tm normalization allows for a more stringent hybridization at higher temperatures. When a 70-mer could not be designed within the specified Tm range, a shorter or longer length oligo was substituted to maintain the stringent Tm conditions. There are also 12 positive controls and 12 negative controls provided in 16 replicates.
