Status Public on May 17, 2006
Title NCI/ATC Hs-OperonV3
Technology type spotted oligonucleotide
Distribution non-commercial
Organism Homo sapiens
Manufacturer Advanced Technology Center Microarray Facility (NIH/NCI/CCR/ATC)
Manufacture protocol Microarrays are printed with GeneMachines robotic arrayer from Genomic Solutions (http://www.genomicsolutions.com) that is fitted with a printhead containing 48 SMP2.5 printing pins from Telechem International (http://www.arrayit.com). The human long oligonuleotide probe set contains 34,960 optimized 70mers (plus controls) obtained from Operon (http://www.operon.com/). The long oligonucleotide probes were purchased in 384-well polypropylene plates (Genetix, 384 microarray) and dissolved print buffer of sodium phosphate (150mM) at ph 8.5 and 4% sodium sulphate at a concentration of 20-30 uM. The microarray spots are printed with 160 micron column x 155 microns row spacing, and one spot is printed per probe per slide. The microarrays were printed on Corning Expoxide slides or Schott Epoxide slides and post-processed according to the manufacturer's protocol.
