Title Drosophila models of dementia uncover shared and specific targets of TDP-43 proteinopathy across ALS and FTD relevant circuits
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We developed a fly model of TDP-43 driven dementia by over-expressing YFP tagged human TDP-43 in the mushroom body neurons of the fly brain

Overall design We used GFP immunoprecipitation to pull down TDP-43 complexes from fly heads, obtained RNA-seq from total input and immunoprecipitated fractions, and then compared expression to identify genes enriched in the TDP-43 fraction
