Lung response to chronic and acute exposure to ingested arsenic
Summary:
Analysis of lungs of C57BL/6 males, on defined diets, chronically exposed to environmentally relevant concentrations of arsenic (As) in food or drinking water. Acute exposure to As through intraperitoneal injection also examined. Results provide insight into the basis of As toxicity from ingestion.
