Summary: Analysis of umbilical cord tissues from extremely low gestational age newborns, between 23 to 27 weeks gestational age, some of who subsequently developed the chronic lung disorder bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying BPD pathogenesis.
