COMMENT REVIEWED REFSEQ: This record has been curated by NCBI staff. The
reference sequence was derived from CB988805.1, BC013985.2,
BC017110.1 and AW245653.1.
Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the
multiprotein complexes PC2 and ARC/DRIP and may function as a
transcriptional coactivator in RNA polymerase II transcription.
This gene contains stretches of trinucleotide repeats and is
located in the chromosome 22 region which is deleted in DiGeorge
syndrome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have
been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq].
Transcript Variant: This variant (1) represents the longer
transcript and encodes the longer isoform (a).
Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the
publications that are available for this gene. Please see the
Entrez Gene record to access additional publications.
