Summary
Enables protein phosphatase binding activity. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of ERK1 and ERK2 cascade and positive regulation of phosphoprotein phosphatase activity. Located in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including dorsal mesogastrium; hemolymphoid system; liver; metanephros; and yolk sac. Used to study autism spectrum disorder. Orthologous to human VRK3 (VRK serine/threonine kinase 3). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
Expression
Ubiquitous expression in testis adult (RPKM 35.9), large intestine adult (RPKM 18.2) and 28 other tissues See more

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
